“Desde la vivienda se contemplan amplios y espectaculares paisajes, la zona está cruzada por caminos ancestrales salpicados de torres medievales, asentamientos prehistóricos, restos arqueológicos a cada paso, y una Naturaleza que permite ser disfrutada incluso sin salir de la vivienda. A escasos minutos de paseo nos adentramos entre alcornoques y roquedos donde es habitual observar búhos reales, jabalíes, zorros, gavilanes, abejarucos, lirios, orquídeas, … y disfrutar de sensaciones, sonidos y aromas imposibles de encontrar ya en las cercanías de la ciudad. Mientras desayunamos en el jardín las golondrinas sobrevuelan nuestras cabezas, y en las noches de verano el canto del autillo nos acompaña a poco que prestemos atención. Hoy ya se oye el canto del cuco que llega por primavera y las golondrinas están nidificando”. Los amigos que nos confiaron la construcción de su hogar.
“From the house one can contemplate vast, spectacular landscapes, the area is full of ancestral roads populated by medieval towers, pre-historic settlements, archaeological remains every other minute, and a Nature that lets you enjoy it even without going out of the house. At a few minutes walk we find ourselves amongst rocks and cork oaks, where you can usually see real owls, wild boars, foxes, sparrow hawks, bee-eaters, irises, orchids… and you can enjoy the sensations, sounds and aromas which are now impossible to find in the proximity of the cities. While having breakfast in the garden, the swallows fly over our heads, and in summer nights the song of the tawny owl can be heard as soon as you listen a bit more closely. Today we can already hear the song of the cuckoo that arrives in spring and the swallows are starting to build their nests.” The friends who trusted us with the project of their home.
